Evelyn Arana, DrPH
Evelyn Arana received her Doctorate in Public Health from the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University in 2017. She holds a Bachelors and Masters degree both in Neuroscience from Brown University and Columbia University, respectively. For her doctoral dissertation, Evelyn conducted a mixed methods study that explores racial/ethnic disparities of breast cancer screening among women with intellectual disabilities in Philadelphia. Evelyn's dissertation was funded by grant R36HS023966 from the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality. Evelyn is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Mental Health at the CUNY School of Public Health working on Thrive NYC mental health initiatives.
